Hayle Gulilat, FNP-C, ENP-C
With a wealth of experience as a Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner, Hayle has worked across emergency medicine, critical care, and beyond. Over the years, he has realized that while medicine itself can be straightforward, the true challenge—and the true art—is connecting with people. For Hayle, that connection is where healing begins, and it’s a gift he feels called to share. His approach blends compassion, precision, and a deep belief in the “why” behind healthcare: making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Hayle was born in Ethiopia and moved to the United States at a young age, carrying with him humble roots that continue to shape his values and his practice of medicine. His career began in Austin, Texas, working in intensive care and emergency departments, before completing a fellowship in emergency medicine at Carilion Clinic. Since then, he has expanded his expertise to primary care, urgent care, sports medicine, aesthetics, and wellness. A defining aspect of his work is his advanced knowledge of ultrasound—a unique skill set developed over nearly a decade. His training spans emergency medicine point-of-care ultrasound, musculoskeletal ultrasound at UCLA, and aesthetic ultrasound courses throughout the U.S. and abroad, giving him a rare breadth of knowledge he applies to both diagnostic and procedural medicine.

Outside of practice, Hayle is passionate about fitness, wellness, and lifelong learning—interests that mirror his professional philosophy. Dr. Aman Kaytal – Medical Director
Dr. Kaytal serves as the Medical Director at Virtual Practitioners, bringing his experience in healthcare leadership and clinical practice. With a focus on innovation and patient-centered care, Dr. Kaytal oversees the delivery of high-quality medical services. He is dedicated to ensuring that Virtual Practitioners remains at the forefront of modern healthcare, providing cutting-edge solutions to meet the needs of our patients.

Dr. Katyal’s journey in medicine began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University. He pursued his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean, where he demonstrated his commitment to both academic excellence and community service.
After completing his medical education, he furthered his training through a residency program in Internal Medicine at Virginia Tech-Carilion School of Medicine. During this time, he garnered recognition for his achievements and contributed to the medical community as a member of the Infection Control Committee.

Dr. Katyal’s professional interests are diverse, encompassing not only the intricacies of hospital medicine but also community engagement and medical education. His dedication to patient care is evident through his active involvement in hospital committees, where he advocates for quality and patient safety.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Dr. Katyal remains committed to giving back to the community, exemplified by his involvement in initiatives such as providing free memory testing in partnership with the St. Maarten Alzheimer’s Foundation during his medical school years. With his multifaceted approach to healthcare and unwavering commitment to excellence, Dr. Aman Katyal continues to make a meaningful impact in the field of hospital medicine.
