Sports Medicine & PRP Therapy

Ethical. Evidence-Informed. Engineered for Function.

At Virtual Practitioners, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all approaches. Whether you’re an athlete, active professional, or simply want to move without pain — our Signature Sports Medicine & PRP Protocols are built around you, not a diagnosis code.

We blend science, skill, and personalized care to support healing, restore mobility, and keep you doing what you love.

What is PRP?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentrated serum derived from your own blood, rich in growth factors that are believed to support the body’s natural healing response. While we do not claim to treat or cure any specific condition, research has shown promise in using PRP to support healing in various joint, tendon, and soft tissue concerns. Our approach to PRP is built around:

  • Ethical, FDA-compliant protocols
  • Thoughtful patient selection (not everyone is a candidate)
  • Ultrasound-guided precision for every procedure
  • Combination strategies when appropriate (e.g., hyaluronic acid for joint support)
  • Time-intensive, 1:1 consultations (up to 90 mins) with image reviews & education
  • Post-injection planning that includes physical therapy, mobility, and strength training

Ultrasound: Our Cornerstone Technology

Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is the foundation of everything we do.

We use ultrasound not only to guide every injection with accuracy, but also as a diagnostic tool to visualize:

  • Soft tissue inflammation
  • Tendon integrity
  • Joint effusion
  • Bursal changes
  • Ligamentous strain patterns

Ultrasound allows us to see what’s happening in real-time, discuss anatomy directly with you, and make informed, safe decisions — all without the delays of traditional imaging.

This Isn’t Assembly-Line Medicine

We hear the horror stories too — fast-paced clinics that rush procedures and overpromise results.

That’s not us. Every client receives:

  • A detailed consultation reviewing injury history, imaging, biomechanics, and goals
  • Education using live anatomy models and ultrasound feedback
  • Honest recommendations, including referral for surgical or orthopedic opinion when appropriate
  • A functional care plan, not a sales pitch

If we don’t think PRP can improve your condition from baseline, we won’t offer it.

Conditions Commonly Explored by Our Clients:

Integrated, Movement-Driven Recovery

We don’t stop at the injection. We connect with:

  • Chiropractors
  • Physical therapists
  • Massage therapists
  • Personal trainers
  • …to build a full-circle recovery plan tailored to your lifestyle.

We also support recovery and pain management with appropriate steroid or trigger point injections when needed — always understanding the half-life, timing, and impact on future regenerative strategies.

Evenings, Events & Athletes in Motion

We proudly offer after-hours appointments and often attend local fitness events, CrossFit competitions, and running clubs to connect with the community. We believe movement is medicine — and staying engaged locally matters.

Our goal is to keep Fort Worth active, educated, and empowered.

Do Good. Live Functional.

If you’re exploring non-surgical options to support joint or soft tissue health, we’re here to walk you through it — ethically, intentionally, and always in your corner.
